Maastricht Universitys Art & Heritage Walk

Many of the offices, faculties and departments of MaastrichtUniversity are housed in prominent inner city buildings. In fact, every building has its own character and particular history, and one will therefore sense a different atmosphere in each one of them. This certainly makes it worth taking a close look at these buildings and their architecture. Other university buildings are found across the river, in Randwyck, a city neighborhood largely developed since the 1970s. Surprisingly, perhaps, its modern architecture also reveals interesting historical features and connections. But there is more: behind the façades of most buildings ofMaastrichtUniversity unique artworks are on view as well.
