In June and July 2018, the Hubert van Eyck Academie organized for the first time a course for students from the Medicine Programme of Maastricht University. The essential question of the course was: "Does experiencing art make you a better doctor?"
Students met with artists, historians, medical specialists and visited cultural institutions. Together they investigated what the added value could be if the two disciplines, art and medicine, are connected. The course was concluded with a public presentation and discussion.

The results of the course will be on show in the Van Eyck Project Space from 24 September to 5 October 2018. Open from Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00.
